Get started with Operly.

Build one working loop in your first session: a team member, a connected mailbox and a routine you will notice tomorrow.

1. Pick one result for tomorrow

Before you click through setup, choose one thing you want to see at your next login. A morning brief is a good first target, because it reads your tasks and calendar and sends nothing to anyone.

Skip the tour. One working loop teaches you more than opening every panel once.

2. Hire your first team member

In the sidebar, choose Hire someone. Pick the kind of work you do and Operly shows three people ready to start, or choose Create your own to name them, pick a face, write the job and hire.

On the pick screen, tap a name to rename them, tap a photo to change it, pick a voice, then choose Hire. Give them one first job, such as a daily brief or a real email thread. Read more in how to stop being the bottleneck.

3. Connect where work arrives

Open Integrations and connect the mailbox you actually use for work. Operly connects Gmail through Google, Outlook through Microsoft, and other mailboxes over IMAP. Connect your calendar too if it lives with the same account, so the brief can include the day's events.

Not sure it's safe to connect? Start with connecting Gmail and Google Calendar.

4. Set up one routine

On a team member's desk, find Routines on the right and choose New routine. Name it, write what it should do in plain English, then choose Add trigger and pick when it runs, such as On a schedule.

Select Create routine and Operly shows a Compiled plan, a numbered list of the steps it will run. Read it. If it matches what you meant, choose Confirm and save. Routines that use AI need AI Features turned on for your workspace. See how to automate a daily morning briefing and five rules to start with.

5. Optional: teach it something

If there is something you are tired of repeating, add it in Settings, Memory. If there is a document you will ask about, attach it to a message with the paperclip. See AI that remembers and asking AI about your own documents.

Check that it worked

You know which team member owns the first job. At least one real work source is connected. A routine is on for a time you will notice. Then stop, and let tomorrow's result show you what to explore next.
